Joanna is 23 pounds and is solid. She is brindle, and we do not know her breed. She is a bit on the shy side but friendly nevertheless. She doesn’t feel comfortable on a leash, but she doesn’t fight it either; she will put on the brakes and will sink into the pavement instead. A calm introduction works best with Joanna.
She likes to hang with her friend Kate as she waits for her adopter.
Unfortunately, Joanna did test positive for heartworm. The ARK will cover the cost of treatment. Please ask the adoption desk about heartworm or heartworm treatment if you have any questions.
