Joey is house and kenneled trained and is used to sleeping in his kennel at night.. He gets along great with everyone, cats, dogs, people, you name it! Joey seems to be quite a social guy, and really enjoys the company of other dogs. He's a total ladies man (See photo2), and likes to be trimmed and pampered to keep up his looks for them.
Joey was surrendered because he had reportedly nipped a young child. Joey has not shown any child aggression at the shelter, but going to a home with older children might be the best bet for this cuddly old man.
Joey may be a bit older, but you wouldn't know it by looking at him! Joey is quite active for his age, and loves going for long walks, playing with other dog, or just running around the back yard. He's looking for the perfect forrever home to live out the rest of his life! Joey's birthday is July 12, 2001. BAPS has adoption fees. These are used to try to help cover the cost of caring for the animal in question.
The Adoption Fee for dogs include: Neuter or Spay, Microchip, Deworming, 1st Vaccines, Bordetella (Kennel Cough Vaccine), and six weeks of pet health insurance.
Adoption Fees are as follows: Puppies (Under 1 year): $300.00 Dogs between 1 and 4 years: $250.00 Dogs between 4 and 7 years: $175.00 Dogs over 7 years: $125.00
