Joey

Joey was found wandering the streets with another dog (Chandler) , both scared and running on the side of the road. A kind samaritan caught them and made sure they were safe, and then reached out to us to see if we could help. We took them in and tried to locate the owners, and were thrilled when we were able to find them! Sadly, after weeks of communication, it was clear they had no intention of ever picking them up, and Joey and Chandler were officially considered abandoned. Joey is around 2 years old, and 15 lbs. He is a small mixed breed, although we have no way of confirming his breeds, we think he might have some Miniature Pincher, Chihuahua and Dachshund in him. He loves to cuddle, play with toys, and follow you around. He does good with other dogs and wouldn't mind sharing his home with another dog, but also doesn't mind being your one and only. Joeys new home will need to be willing and able to help continue his training to help him build his confidence and continue to be the best little dog he can be. When he came to us he was very scared of everything which led to him having some less then ideal behaviors. To help him heal we entered him in a board and train program with Bark K9 Rehabilitation, who will continue working with Joey's new home to ensure he is his best self! His $300 adoption fee includes him being up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered and dewormed. Please let us know if you would like to meet this sweet guy and give him a forever home.
