Meet Joey, a 2 - 3 year old English Bulldog weighing in at a compact 45 pounds, on the hunt for his forever home. Once Joey warms up to you, he becomes a spunky little bundle of joy, always up for a good time. This social butterfly adores both big and small dogs, and craves all the scratches and attention from his human pals. He is especially fond of children and loves to be doused with a gentle mist from the water hose to cool off in the summer heat (mist setting, please!)
He was found wandering rural farmland in this intense Sacramento spring heat. Battling a terrible skin infection & ear infection (so bad he had a cauliflower ear) he needed immediate medical attention. Being brachycephalic, even the low 80s is enough to send a bulldog like Joey into respiratory distress!
While Joey does battle the typical skin allergies that come with being a purebred English Bulldog, he is crate and leash trained, making him a breeze to care for. He is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and has been microchipped for added security.
If you're in search of a cuddly companion to keep you company, Joey is your go-to guy!
