Please contact foster at [email protected] Jaybee, the velvet velcro Jaybee is playful but, for a puppy, pretty calm. He would be a great bestie for a dog friend who likes to play. He also mellows out and will watch a movie in the evenings. Like all puppies, a good long walk helps get the puppy energy out! Jaybee is dog-friendly. He currently lives with two cranky females who want to have nothing to do with him - but he responds appropriately to their corrections. We've met a couple of dogs on walks, and he was very friendly but not pushy. Jaybee is kid-friendly. While he jumps on adults (working on stopping that), surprisingly, he hasn't tried jumping on my 5-year-old. He's enjoyed interacting with all the kids he has met. His puppy antics still show up from time to time so a kiddo who is used to puppies or dogs should be fine! Jaybee is crate-trained (mostly). He willingly goes into his crate. He's working on being housetrained - almost there - no accidents yesterday or today so far! Jaybee is a quiet fellow. I haven't heard him bark yet but he does whine to communicate. Like most puppies, Jaybee has his moments of baby shark. He likes soft stuffie toys - but has not destroyed them (yet, anyway)! Jaybee loves being near his people. He follows them around. And his fur is soft like velvet. And his eyes melt hearts :) We are not sure how Jaybee would do with cats. He saw one on his walk and didn't seem interested. He did show some interest in squirrels but didn't pull on the leash to get to them. He's pretty easy to walk, constantly checking in with you.
