Say “Hi!” to one of the most lovable Lab youngsters on the planet – Johnny! Just a year old, he weighs a perfect playful 65 pounds. With those big brown eyes and licorice button nose, he’s just as cute, endearing and handsome in person as he is in his photo.
Johnny came to us when his family could no longer keep him. They got him off to a great start in life. He’s housetrained, crate trained and knows how to sit. Raised with a growing family, Johnny gets along well with everyone. No one is a stranger for long to this friendly guy. He loves to be petted, cuddled and just pretty much in the midst of all the goings on! Other dogs count Johnny among their friends and how he loves to play with them. Being a young Lab he enjoys his approved chewables.
Johnny is a typical active young Lab who loves his exercise. All our labs are thoroughly vetted before being made available for adoption. In this process we learned that Johnny has hip dysplasia, not an uncommon issue for Labrador Retrievers. His condition is managed with prudent exercise (we bet he’d love swimming!) to build muscle tone and medically: he takes a common joint supplement and a medication if he feels discomfort. And we can tell you from the happy wag and his ever-ready “let’s go play” attitude he’s feeling mighty fine indeed!
Adorable, affectionate, ready to play and be the life of the party, Johnny’s got his leash in paw and is wiggling and wagging at the thought of going home forever with you!
