We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Johnny, 2 years old, neutered male, Husky, 56 pounds. He is in a foster home located in SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS. He can transport out of State once an adopter is approved. Johnny is an energetic and playful Husky with a strong personality. He loves to play hard, often engaging in a lot of jumping and running. With his high energy levels, he brings excitement and activity wherever he goes. Johnny requires an experienced owner who understands the Husky breed. Johnny shares a home with another dog and loves to engage in vigorous play, including a lot of jumping and running. He has played with a 50 pound dog and attempted to play with a 10 pound dog, but it was too much. He does not react when seeing other dogs when walking on leash. He is not cat friendly. He has been around kids as young as 6 years old and also likes to play hard. We recommend a home with kids who respect and understand animal boundaries. Johnny is fully house broken. He does very well in his crate. He does pull when walking on leash. He has not shown any issues when taking treats or food around other dogs. He is solid moderate energy and is looking for an active home. He enjoys running outside in the backyard for 10-15 minutes and then relaxing indoors. He is very typical Husky who is independent and less affectionate than other dogs. He can be stubborn, temperamental, smart and is very playful. He plays with toys sometimes. He is very happy meeting new people and will jump up to say hello. He rides well in the car. He likes to talk a lot when it's time to eat or go outside. Johnny is looking for a home that understands the Husky breed, with a confident owner who won't be intimidated by his stubbornness and temperamental nature. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown.
