WHAT IS YOUR NAME? Johnny ARE YOU A BOY OR A GIRL? I’m a boy HOW OLD ARE YOU? I was born in September 2023! WHAT BREED ARE YOU? I’m a little bit of everything, but mostly Pit Bull and American Staffordshire Terrier. Any other breeds you want to guess that might be mixed in there, you’ll probably be right! HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? I am about 50 pounds of handsomeness! WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? I have a beautiful reddish brown coat and stunning green eyes! WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? I love my kibble and anything else my humans give me. WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? I am a perfect balance between cuddle bug and playful puppy. DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY My perfect day is eating, playing really hard, napping even harder, and then repeating everything. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? I really like a spikey ball and squeaky toys. Squeaky toys are so fun! And one of my favorite things to play is fetch! Whoever came up with this game is a genius! I get to run back and forth AND have a ball at the same time?!? Amazing! DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? I know how to sit! And I wait patiently when foster mom says “stay.” I’m thinking it’s time for some sort of public recognition of my accomplishment, don’t you think? A medal or trophy? This stuff was hard to learn! WHAT SCARES YOU? I am a little cautious of people in the big outside world, but once I get used to someone, they’re my best friend. I am not really afraid of anything in particular though. HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? There aren’t any living in my foster home, but we have a 9-year-old that visits and she is a lot of fun. DO YOU LIKE CATS? I haven’t met one yet. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? I LOVE them! I love playing with my foster sister and a puppy friend named Willy. When I get tired of playing with all my doggy friends, I crawl in my foster mom’s lap and cuddle. IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? Next to my humans being cuddled or wrestling with my foster sister. She is a lot of fun! HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? Great!! I am a healthy young boy and my whole life is ahead of me. WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION? I live with two adults: my foster mom and foster dad. They have a 25-pound Frenchie and their grand-puppy, Willy, comes over to hang out a lot. My favorite human is my foster mom because she gives me lots of attention and treats when I potty outside. WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? Safely in my crate WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? Also in my crate DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? I love it! I love going for walks and I do great on a leash. DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? I am young so I still need direction sometimes. I am a very good boy, but occasionally I get mischievous and will run off with a shoe if you leave it sitting there for me. (I mean, why else would there be a shoe… or a dish towel… or a sock … just lying around at my level, right?) But I’m pretty good about giving it back after you notice my shenanigans. ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)? Oh yeah, I’ve got that all under control now! Smart boy! DO YOU LIKE WATER? I love playing with water from the hose in the yard! Oh boy, is that a good time! I could chase the water around for hours if there wasn’t so much other fun stuff to play with! WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? I love to cuddle with them and I really love playing with my foster sister. WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NORCAL BULLY BREED RESCUE? I was living with my mom and littermates outdoors. I have a great future thanks to 4RFriends and NorCal Bully Breed Rescue partnering to take in me and my sister, who has already been adopted. Now it’s my turn to find a family that will love me forever!
