Hi I’m Johnny! I am a typical husky, energetic and sweet. I currently live with a foster family, and I have 2 foster northern breed dogs. My foster brother, Amos, a Malamute, has been showing me the proper way to use my husky energy and how to meet the expectations of my husky savvy foster family. I currently live on the side of a mountain and we hike daily. I also get to run after squirrels, and bunnies, and all kinds of animals…I do sometimes catch them. I also really enjoy bringing turtles home. I do not hurt the turtles, just like to lay down next to them. I am good with kind and respectful, older children, other dogs, and I seem to like strangers too! It is a requirement of my furever home that there be other dogs in the home. I am happiest when I am in the company of other dogs. Everyone thinks I am handsome, but I am more than a handsome dog, I am energetic and very smart and without proper leadership, I could get into trouble so 4 Paws would like me to be adopted by a husky experienced home. I used to escape a lot from my previous owners and kind of run all over the neighborhood but not with my foster family! With them I get enough exercise and appropriate and consistent boundaries have taught me I do not need to run away to have a ton of fun!! I have also learned to enjoy swimming since coming to my foster family’s home. I do have a seizure disorder that is maintained with medication that cost approximately $44-48/month.
