Meet Jojo, a charming 53-pound mixed breed pup with a heart full of potential! At two years old, Jojo is a shy girl at first but give her some time, and she'll warm up to you, especially around adults. She's currently surrounded by older adults at the rescue and has shown a preference for smaller dogs, particularly females. Jojo's personality is a delightful mix of cautious and playful. While she may be timid initially, her gentle demeanor shines through as she gains confidence. Her favorite pastimes include running around outside and playing with her toys. She's a bit protective of her toys, so she appreciates having her own space to enjoy them. Training-wise, Jojo is a superstar. She's both kennel and potty trained, making her a well-mannered addition to any household. She does best in a fenced yard where she can safely explore without the temptation to dig. Although she's not destructive, she does like to be checked on regularly when left outside. Jojo gets along best with smaller dogs and seems to thrive in a calm environment. She's currently living with older adults and hasn't had much interaction with children, so a household with adults or older children might suit her best. If you're looking for a sweet, shy, and playful companion, Jojo could be your perfect match. She needs a bit of time to warm up and adjust but once she does, you'll find a loyal and loving friend who adores outdoor playtime and the simple joys of life.
