My Story

JoJo is a 4 year old Black and Tan Coonhound mix that was left behind when her family decided to move and not include her and her doggie friend in their plans. A good Samaritan contacted Rescue and JoJo is now safe in foster care in the Dallas area. She is fully housetrained and kennel trained, though she does fine outside of her kennel when left home alone. JoJo knows basic commands and does not jump up on people. JoJo loves car rides and will hop in for any adventure. She loves her people and will follow her foster mom everywhere around the house. JoJo would do well with an older or laid-back hound; she prefers to have her space and does not care for dogs that run up in her face. JoJo is a couch potato and loves to lounge with her people while watching tv in the evening. She walks well on a leash and is eager to please. She is a bit heavy at 65 lbs and is working on shedding a few pounds.
