Jojo

Meet Jojo! He is 30-pounds of energetic happiness! When he is excited, he hops and gallops around like he is the happiest boy ever! We just know he is going to be the most fun dog ever in a home once he settles. He isn't necessarily a pup who loves to play fetch and chase toys, but as long as he has a person to play with and entertain, he's good to go! Since Jojo can get excited, we think he'd do best with an adopter who wants to be able to play but then is also able to help him relax and calm down; maybe with some enrichment puzzles! In his previous home, he did well with being house-trained and crate-trained, too! He knows how to sit, come, stay, and lay down! We are working with him on polite leash-walking! Since he is so intelligent, we know he can learn quite quickly! We're also teaching him to take treats gently and how to share. If you are considering adopting Jojo, we ask that you continue to work on helping him feel comfortable with people being around his food (in a structured manner in order to set him up for success!). Jojo is such a fast learner, though. Just a quick teaching session and he catches on. Be a leader that he can follow and we see lots of success for him! Jojo has been doing great in his dog playgroups. He also has lived with a cat before and was a good furbrother to her. We think he'd be the coolest furbrother to teenagers and older. Going for walks, car rides, and running are a few things he loves to do. A quiet home with interactive activity is what he is looking for, if that makes sense! A little bit of both worlds is what we think would be best for him. He is about four years old and is neutered and he recently had a dental done!
