Jolene

This long-eared hound dog is Miss Jolene! Jolene came to us a few months ago as a stray and was never reclaimed. We aren't sure why a girl so sweet ended up here with us! Jolene is an absolute love and is happy with any sort of attention. Her favorite is when you scratch her chin and rub her ears. We have learned that Jolene does great with other dogs- as long as they are her size or bigger! She does have a prey drive so she would not be a good match for a home with smaller animals. She is great with all humans and wants nothing more than to be your best bud. True to her breed, Jolene has an adventurous spirit and her nose tends to get her into mischief. She will need to be supervised outdoors or she might take herself on a solo hunting trip through the woods! Jolene does excellent in the fenced area and is very gentle to walk on leash. She also keeps a clean kennel and does great if let out regularly. Jolene did come to us heartworm positive, but she's handled treatment like a champ and is all ready to go to her fur-ever family! **Spayed, microchipped, heartworm positive, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention.
