Meet Jonah! This handsome boy is a mix of husky, German shepherd, Australian Shepherd, and border collie, and he's just 2 years old. Jonah is incredibly smart and already knows how to go into his kennel when asked. He can be a bit timid on walks, but with some patience and reassurance, he'll gain more confidence. He's also quite oral and loves to pick up items and hold them in his mouth - sometimes even giving them a little chew. He's a big fan of bones and toys! This clever pup has even figured out how to open a sliding glass door and windows. So, if you're looking for a dog who will keep you on your toes, Jonah might be the perfect match for you. He would thrive with someone who can invest time in training and exercising him. Despite his initial shyness, Jonah is very social with his people and absolutely adores snuggles. He's just an all-around good dog who deserves a loving home. We're not sure how he is with children under nine years old or other animals, as his previous interactions haven't been documented. However, with proper introductions and socialization, he may do well in a home with other pets or older children. Jonah loves sitting at the window and will happily perch there like a cat. He's also house trained and has been trained to ring a bell when he needs to go outside. If you tell him to "kennel up," he'll walk right to his kennel and go in. He may be nervous around new people, but with treats and time, he warms up and becomes more comfortable. Please note that Jonah can be a bit timid on hikes and isn't the best with traveling in vehicles, as he hasn't had much experience in that area.
