Jonny UPDATE!!!

Hello! Jonny is now "podie" (a derivative of Podengo). He has turned into a wonderful dog. Actually, all three are thriving, but he has made the most progress. Podie comes to the pet store when I'm working. He enjoys the dog park and is crate trained. He is a gentle, sweet dog, and it's so amazing to watch these critters come to life!

------------------------ Greetings! Johnny is one of three dogs who came into rescue from the Merced area. We have looked long and hard into their parentage. While we are not 100% certain, the consensus is that they are Ibizan mixes. These dogs were very shy when they arrived. Johnny is coming out of his shell and he'll now eat food from his foster mom's hand. He will SOON be ready to start walking on a leash and living the good life!

Johnny is the largest of the three dogs, weighing about 45 pounds. At this time we feel that he CAN be separated from the other two dogs. Because they are bonded, and we must be sure that we do the right thing for him, we'd like someone to foster him for a week or two prior to adoption.
