Meet Jonsie, This little butterball is the cutest "Bugle" you'll ever meet. Jonsie is the perfect mix of cuddles and spice. She loves her people more than anything but it takes her time to warm up so several meet ups will be needed before a decision can be made. Since Jonsie is slow to warm up she has not been tested around kids, so an adult home is preferred. Jonsie does well with dog friendly cats and other dogs, loves going for walks, treats, cuddling, car rides and anything else her person enjoys. Jonsie does get bored when left alone so crating is a must she also will need to be crated or leashed when anyone unfamiliar is visiting the home. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee.
