Josephine

A volunteer spent some time with Josephine, and here's what they said: "Josephine is the perfect puppy with so much love to give! She's a wiggly, happy girl both in and out of her kennel, and she walked very nicely on the leash despite clumsy puppy paws! As soon as we were in the yard I could tell she had the perfect silly, playful puppy energy. She's affectionate and loves getting her belly rubbed and giving you puppy kisses! She is also working on learning "sit" and seems like she'd be a breeze to train. She loved interacting with me and loved playing with toys. She also seemed interested in playing with the other dogs nearby. Overall, Josephine is the perfect pup!" I used Josephine to help me out with a dog test today. She did really well with greeting the dog at the gate. She had a loose body language and an excited wag in her tail. She gave the dog kisses through the fence as well. When the other dog entered the yard her and the other dog ran to each other with full energy Josephine didn't like that and gave a correction to the other dog. The other dog did listen and they went back to playing after that. Josephine has a rough and rowdy play style but I really think she would prefer the handlers. She spent more time trying to get attention for me and the other handler then playing with the other dog.
