Josh came to us when his owner surrendered him to a clinic after he was hit by a car. Josh suffered a fracture that required surgery, which was done. After many weeks of crate rest and recovery, he has healed perfectly and is clear for take-off! And this Beagle boy has lots of running and playing he is making up for! Although he may be timid at first, with some patience and love, he will prove to be the sweetest young beagle. Josh loves other dogs and needs a furry friend in his new home to help him come out of his shell. He gets along great with the dogs in his foster home and they have shown him how much fun it is to be a playful pup! And once he opens up, he is a very playful, silly young dog! It would be best if his new owners had some experience with the Beagle breed, as he can be a bit shy and needs someone who can give him the time and attention he needs. Josh is a sweet and gentle dog who just wants to find a forever home where he can feel safe and loved. Josh is about two years old, has been neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworms. He is current on heartworm & flea prevention. He weighs around 25 pounds, is crate-trained, and has done fine around children. He does need a securely fenced yard to run and play in.
