Josh the chihuahua is estimated to be between 2-3 years old and weighs 3.5lbs, taking the record for the smallest adult dog we’ve ever had come thru the rescue. He’s fragile and he knows it so he is hyper vigilant when it comes to making sure he doesn’t get sat on or stepped on. His tiny apple head is always on a swivel but once he snuggles into a blanket on the couch, and he knows he’s safe, he will relax and nap for hours. He absolutely loves to cuddle. He has very short spurts of playfulness but mostly he is a quiet observer. Josh needs his new forever home to be a very safe space, which unfortunately means no small children, dogs who rough house or humans who have no spacial awareness. . Jude the Pekingese is estimated to be between 1-2 years old and about 14lbs. He’s truly just the sweetest, dopiest guy you’ll ever meet. He loves life, as evident during his brief but hysterical zoomy fits, and he simply adores people. It should be noted that Jude is not graceful, he’s not athletic and has zero coordination skills. He’s very likely to bump face first into wall or bounce awkwardly off the couch while trying to chase a ball, but he never lets it get him down. Bless his goofy lil heart. Jude is just precious but he is a brick. He does also have a naughty habit of playfully chasing kitties. He’s not too relentless about it but probably best if he doesn’t go to a home with a sensitive cat. . Both boys have a low tolerance for being too hot but Jude specifically cannot tolerate the heat.
