Josie

After raising 6 healthy, chunky babes, Josie is absolutely thriving in her Empty Nest Era. She is great on a leash and would make an excellent running partner. She will also gladly sleep all afternoon on your lap or cuddled with a doggie sibling. She has done well with all dogs she has encountered, both small and large. She has not been around any cats, but we anticipate that she would not mind them bc she is pretty mellow indoors. She doesn't bark unless she is around other dogs who begin the battle roar, and she does well in her crate at night. She is highly treat motivated so she learns things quickly. Josie is the perfect mix of party girl and old lady wrapped in a smallish package. Josie will be getting heartworm treatment paid for by the rescue and then will be spayed. Also paid for by the rescue. After that time she can be adopted right now she can be a foster with the intention to adopt.
