I used to be called “Izzy” but decided to change my name since I am starting a new life in my foster home. I am an Elhew Pointer who spent my whole life in a breeding facility having puppies. When the breeding facility closed down I needed somewhere to go so I came to this wonderful place called PRO! I am 10 years young and ready to find a perfect retirement home. I spent my whole life in a concrete kennel, so soft beds and blankets are a must have in my forever home! I recently learned how to play with toys and I just love them. I share my foster home with feline and canine foster siblings. I don’t mind the cats in my foster home but I’m not so sure yet about how I feel sharing my space with my canine foster siblings. My new home would have to allow me to adjust very slowly to any canine companions or I’d also enjoy being the only dog in the home. My foster home has a doggie door to the outside fenced yard and I really enjoy going in and out to the fenced yard. I have my favorite chair that I love to snuggle up in and take naps. Overall, I am a low key girl who would love a home where my people are home a lot of the time & I could spend my time snoozing on a soft bed and chewing on toys & bones.
