I'm a 4-year-old Boxer mix, and don't let my looks fool you—I'm young at heart with a fantastic personality. He's potty trained and waiting for his forever home. Judah loves being a couch potato but also enjoys time in the backyard. He's great with people and would thrive in a home with a submissive female dog or as the only dog. He’s selective with male dogs, so walks are best instead of dog parks. Judah is super smart and would do well in a home with a fenced-in yard. There's nothing wrong with having just one dog, especially when they're as wonderful as Judah! I currently live with cats, but we have a mutual understanding to keep our distance. I'm a superstar on the leash and absolutely love going for long walks and adventures. Meeting new people is always a joy for me, and running around the yard is one of my favorite pastimes. I'm good with kids too, though due to my playful nature, I think I'd be a better fit with children aged 8 and up. If you're looking for a loyal and adventurous companion, I'm your guy! She/He is currently located in Chicago's southwest suburbs and can be seen by appointment once an adoption application is completed and approved by the rescue. We cannot hold our dogs for any reason. Unless the dog or puppy is fully vetted we will only consider applications that are within 1 hour or 40 miles of Lemont, IL. This is due to the required vetting at our partner veterinarians. If the dog or puppy is fully vetted we will allow adoptions out of state or outside of our 1 hour or 40 mile restriction.
