My Story

Meet Jukebox! Jukebox entered Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray. When he wasn't claimed, we scooped him up on May 14 to become a Frosted Face. Jukebox is 12 years old and weighs 8 lbs. He is a gentle, sweet boy who craves attention from people and loves being held. Burrowing under blankets and being around other dogs are high on his favorites list, too! Jukebox has had a busy social calendar since his arrival at FFF. First, a volunteer took him on a solo outing the park, and he enjoyed tottering around on the grass. Being carried and held seemed to relax him, and he rested his head onto her shoulder. Back in the car after spending time at the park, Jukebox curled up in his car seat. Next, Jukebox joined two other small Frosted Faces and several volunteers on an outing to a local winery. He was the perfect date! Jukebox did great with the other dogs, was quiet and well-behaved, and enjoyed being held or tottering around. Jukebox went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn what he is like in a home. His Fling Mom shares: "Jukebox is so loving and is always up for anything involving his human - walks on the beach, spending too much time in Target, going out for margaritas, napping with lots of blankets, and definitely celebrating! Anywhere we would go, everyone wanted to say hi and pet him. He loved the attention! Jukebox had a dental during our Fling, and after a couple days, he started smiling ear to ear just to show off how much better his mouth was feeling! He does have some trouble walking due to his back legs not being at 100%, and he is anxious at times, but as soon as he's picked up, all is right in his sweet little world again. He's also an excellent sling buddy. Jukebox and I had the best time and I sure hope he finds someone that can give him the extra attention he so deserves. You will get SO much love back in return!" Jukebox is back on-site and ready for his forever home. Might it be with you?
