Jumper was first rescued off the streets by a kind hearted man. This kind man, who had his own rottie held on to Jumper for a year seeking a good home for him. He wanted what this old soul of a dog deserves: a loving home. He knew that his own dog would never accept another dog in the family.
He tried to get the Arizona Humane Society to take Jumper, but they informed him that if he surrendered Jumper to them, he probably would be euthanized. Not wanting to chance that for this special dog, he continued to look and finally came upon us. After hearing the story behind this dog, we decided to help both dog and man.
And what a treat it has been to have him with us. What a dreamboat!!! He has to hug you before he will go pass you. He has the look of an angel in his eyes. We know why the kind man held on to him for so long.
