They had been there for months. Thankfully, kind individuals saw them and started feeding them, but couldn't catch them, so they called a rescue for assistance. After hearing their plight and seeing the frighteningly dangerous conditions they endured, a trapper was hired to bring them to safety. They've received full veterinary care and are ready for a loving forever home together. June and Johnny love to play. Their bond is heartwarming, as they entertain each other and sleep together in a crate or on a dog bed. June prefers the company of smaller dogs like Johnny and is not comfortable around larger or unfamiliar dogs, making a backyard setting ideal for their playtime. June may exhibit fear reactions at times (she yelps if she gets scared), it's more about her past experiences than actual harm. We really want them to have a backyard to play in as they would not do well at a dog park and if in the front yard, Johnny does bark at dogs passing by. She's crate and leash trained, though she can get excited on walks, and is working potty training, with the right schedule she does fine w/potty training, someone that works from home would be ideal for them. June and Johnny must be adopted together as they are an adorable bonded pair, they are looking for a home w/a backyard for them to play in, someone that understands their fearfulness but sees their sweetness and just wants to give them the best life possible.
