Howdy! I'm Juney (that's short for Juniper)! My mama Sayge and I came all the way to Colorado from a crowded New Mexico shelter. I am such a sweet and tender-hearted little girl. I'm a little skittish in new situations and loud noises and kids make me nervous. Around adults I'm very friendly and comfortable and I warm up to strangers after just a couple of minutes. i am 1-2 years old and am very energetic and playful! I love plush squeak toys and playing fetch and tug, I also really love my mama. I am looking for a home with a confident but young playful dog, maybe a male as I seem to like them better for play time. I would be a great hiking or walking partner and am not a sit around kind of girl! A home with lots of outdoor adventures would be a blast for me, though I'm still a little nervous on the leash but getting better. Even though I have a lot of energy, I am over-the-top cuddly and love lap and snuggle time. I am mostly house trained but need frequent potty breaks right now while I learn the ropes. I am not a fan of cold weather but do enjoy a good fleece on chilly days. I could be adopted to a home with another dog pal or with my mom. How about a visit?
