Hi- my name is Just Jack! My foster mom’s little girl named me after her tennis coach at summer camp. I may possibly be the best dog in the whole world. I am about 4-5 years old and weigh 48 lbs and have had kind of a rough life. I was abandoned during the Nashville floods, and got my neck caught in a fence. I spent six weeks in the holding pen at animal control, waiting for my wounds to heal. Now that I’m in a foster home, I’m learning what it’s like to be loved and be part of a family. My two doggie housemates are a little crazy, and they jump all over me, but I LOVE it! I am pretty submissive to people and other dogs, and the family cat doesn’t interest me at all- even when she tries to whack me as I walk by. I love children, as they give the most unconditional love and they let me kiss them! The most lovable thing about me is how grateful I am- I’m grateful to be allowed inside where it’s cool, grateful to be fed and watered regularly, and grateful to be allowed to sleep on the floor with the other dogs. I like to sleep on my back with my feet straight up in the air- and if you’ll pet my head, I will sit for hours at your feet. Won’t you please give me a forever home- I’ve paid my dues and will be forever grateful!
