My Story

K is quite the character! She loves to do play bows and play with you and also roll over for belly rubs. Her foster fondly calls her a garbage disposal and if there's something on the ground, K most likely will try and eat it. K loves people more than anything and seems to get along okay with other dogs and cats in her current foster home. K needs a very special family that has the financial means to continue her ongoing care. She has allergies, so needs to stay on apoquel to help keep her comfortable the rest of her life and prevent itching. Although she is young, she has already had two ruptured crutiate ligaments. The rescue has already repaired one and can help with some of the cost for the other if the right adopter is found for K. K also needs to go on a diet, so spoiling her endless with lots of treats will not be the right fit for her! K loves to lounge around and play with her kong toy or bone. She would do great with a family that is home often or would also be fine hanging out by herself. She is crate trained and loves hanging out in her crate. She is also house trained and knows basic commands such as sit or leave it. If you feel you have $200 a month to spend on K AND can help support her next leg surgery, an adoption application can be filled out at lpah.org/adoption.
