UPSTATE NY: Young Kai is stunningly handsome, with his deep brindle coat fluffily framing his piercing eyes that search tirelessly for his forever home! Can that be with you? Kai is a 1 year old Klee Kai mix and weighs 53 lbs. Being so young, Kai of course has puppy energy that he needs to burn off, so an active home would be best for this guy! Spending time outside and going for walks is also a great way to show off his unique, beautiful fluffy brindle coat. Kai was rescued from the euthanasia list in March 2024 and he is now looking for a foster or adopter to play with! Kai can be slow to warm up to people, but he walks well on a leash and is easily handled. Kai also loves yummy treats and is highly food motivated, so once he is settled in, he will respond well to training. Kai is friendly when meeting unfamiliar dogs, but is not a fan of cats. He will do best in an adult only home, but there is a wonderful companion awaiting to be unlocked underneath his soft fur. Kai just needs a little patience to be his best self. Kai is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped and ready for his forever home!
