Kai

Kai is an absolutely adorable, super high-energy guy looking for a home to meet his high-energy needs! Kai is about a year old and an absolute joy. He loves to run and play and loves everyone he meets! Kai is super friendly with other dogs. He comes on strong, so a dog in the home needs to meet his super playful ways. He would quickly drive a calm dog crazy! No cats for Kai. Kai has met small children and while not mean at all, he is super jumpy and would knock down little ones. He would be fine with sturdy kids who can handle themselves. This guy is smart as a whip! He loves to work and would be great at agility or other dog training classes. Kai has been waiting a very long time for a home and came to us from another shelter. We can't understand why no one has scooped him up! Someone looking for a best friend, running and hiking buddy and overall good boy will love Kai. We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to [email protected] regarding adoption inquires. We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at [email protected] before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there. Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing [email protected] and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need. Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
