Hi! My name's Kaia. I was dumped on a country road in Central Texas. Thankfully, Salem's Hollow Animal Rescue found me. I'm very grateful to have a foster home to relax in away from the heat. I'm 5 months old and I weigh 43 pounds. I'm a hound mix. Although I don't make a lot of noise, I have a signature hound bark! I'm spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Currently, I have three foster dog brothers and several foster cat siblings. I love all of them! I'm very submissive to my foster brothers. I love to play and cuddle with them and my foster parents. My foster mom says I'm one of the sweetest girls she's ever had at the rescue. The other day, I spotted a butterfly in the yard and chased it for five whole minutes. I am just a happy-go-lucky girl and would love to have a family of my own. I also like car rides and going for walks. I walk well on a leash but I also know to stay with my foster mom when we go for off-leash walks on the property. I know 'Sit' and I'm learning 'Leave It' and 'Down'. I'm also potty-trained and crate trained. I am still a puppy so I would do best in a home where my new person or family is comfortable with staying on top of my training and helping me with my teething because I still have most of my baby teeth. I am crate trained but since I'm a puppy I need exercise and interaction so I'd prefer a home where I'm not kept in a crate for more than a few hours at a time.
