Khalani is the dog equivalent of the shy, book loving girl at the library. She's fiercely loyal to her friends but prefers to be more in the background of the activities. She's a bit shy at first but loves affection and attention from people she feels are safe. Life wasn't super kind to her prior to her arrival at the shelter but she's learning that people can be gentle and that hands don't always hurt. She would adore a house that is more on the calm side and had plenty of time for lap cuddle sessions the couch in the evenings. She would be your solid little welcome wagon at the end of a rough day and you would always feel like the most important person in the world to a sweet little girl who's life you made ALL the difference in.
