Kali

In February, we rescued Kali from a Kansas shelter. She was likely a dumped puppy as no owner came for her. A gorgeous 8 month old Great Pyrenees/Saint Bernard mix, Kali has a big heart. She is very sweet and absolutely loves everyone she meets. She will soak up all the attention you give her and watch out for her big Pyr paw! Kali is great with kids and gets excited when the grandkids visit. She would do best with older children as she still jumps up sometimes and might knock little ones over accidentally. Always up for a play session, Kali loves to play and would need a submissive male in her furever home as she wants to be in charge. And for this reason she needs to be the only female dog and no cats. Kali is very smart, a pretty good listener, and will alert you to sights and sounds. Kali is potty trained and she walks pretty well on a leash. Located in Jackson, MO Kali weighs about 75 lbs, is up to date on core vaccines, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. She will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract with adopter promising to spay/neuter at a later date and must show proof at that time. Adoption Requirements: *A secure, visible fence *A home visit *A vet check with at least a two year vet history Adopters can be located in Missouri and surrounding states: Kansas, Arkansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Illinois. We are able to help transport to those states.
