Reposting Kara!
We posted her a few weeks ago, but she's mostly black so has been overlooked in the shelter environment, she doesn't stand out like the white or beige colored dogs..
plus the fact that she doesn't bark at passers by to get their attention, maybe she should do better yelling at them to stop and ask for a meet & greet!
Kara just comes to the front of her gate thinking maybe someone will stop & ask to spend time meeting her just one time.
She's a gorgeous 1 -1/2 year old, that was surrendered with her brother Krypto.
Both did nothing wrong, their family just needed to downsize their dog quantity. Previously multiple dogs have been surrendered.
Both sweet and happy Gentle Giants, Kara & Krypto lived with multiple dogs in their household.
Three of their housemates were surrendered to us the past few months, one was surrendered with her puppies.
This is most likely due to the economy & people not being able to properly care for their pets with the prices of food & vetting going up.
We understand the situation completely and welcomed these 2 sweethearts.
Kara weighs 70 pounds lbs. and is a Lab mix with brindle markings.
They remind us somewhat of Great Dane mixes.
Kara is now spayed.
The two siblings compliment each other and have great manners, not needy or overbearing.
Both are super sweet, love to be close and give hugs,
Kara knows sit & takes treats easy, and was nice to cats in kennels.
She throws both paws up constantly as to wrap her arms around you to hug you and needs a hug herself.?
She was also great with our young model Sydney who is a fantastic volunteer with her mom on weekends !
?VIDEO on our Facebook page.
The last picture is her brother Krypto - he is black with a bright white chest.
