Happy, happy HAPPY always Snuggly (loves being next to you in bed or on the couch) like a warm toasted marshmallow LOVES to give hugs and kisses Very quiet, even among barking dogs … only barks if he feels he is missing out on the fun … FOMO An excellent listener and is easy to redirect; sensitive to tone of voice A really solid nighttime sleeper Very creative and comedic; Karl has party tricks, such as carrying his FULL dinner bowl to various locations while eating a meal and jumping while twirling in circle of excitement simply because he is happy to be alive Gentle, gentle, gentle Loyal and will connect and attach without being overbearing Loves all dogs and handles large packs (5+) very well Very handsome … silver gray with white and some Appaloosa spots! Knows all basic commands and responds appropriately for a senior Good on leash especially with a harness or rubber prong collar. Would do best in an energetic & also quiet (balanced), healthy, connected, snuggly, home with people and other dogs. Kennel and potty trained! Karl is between 7-9 years old, and 60 lbs. He is the perfect dog for someone who lives in more of an urban setting, and would like to go for daily walks, but wants a chill loving companion. He loves to go for walks, he isn’t leash reactive, is still in good shape for a senior guy, and has good recall. Karl would do great as a pitty in the city! Karl ADORES people … ALL PEOPLE. He also loves all dogs and plays well with others. Karl would do best with only dogs and people in his home, He loves dogs! He loves rides in the car and field trips as well as indestructible chew toys. Oh! And snacks, Karl LOVES snacks … especially peanut butter. He also LOVES belly rubs. Karl will hang out on the couch or dog bed all day or he will run and play and explore outside … you choose the type of day you wish to enjoy, and Karl is right there supporting you. Please don’t let his age stop you from sharing the next chapter of his life with you. All the puppy behaviors are gone. Karl is pretty much perfect. He is that once-in-a-lifetime pup. He would be absolutely perfect for someone who wants a loving loyal companion, who likes to go for daily walks, but isn’t interested in all the young crazy dog energy.
