Karma & Duke

Adoption Fee Waived For August! Bonded Pair - Came to our rescue after being attacked with a machete and left laying there for a week. On the road to recovery and hopefully a happy ending. Karma is Dukes mom she's 7 years old. She is sweet and laid back. She wants love, attention, snacks and naps. She is heartworm negative and overall very healthy. Duke will be 2 in July. Duke is currently going through Heartworm treatment as well as recovering from (non contagious) demodex which covered majority of the front of his body as well as patches across his back. They are both fully vaccinated, on ProHeart12, microchipped and will be spay/neutered as soon as we are given the green light from our vetrinarian. Their ideal home would be somewhere with a large yard or where they can go on walks together. They are the perfect couples dogs... Karma would be happy to curl up with you by the pool while you read on your newest book. Duke would be happy doing the same, although he'd much rather be meandering in the yard with your significant other while they do a little landscaping. Dont let that fool you though he is a 60lb lap dog who will curl up in your lap on the couch for some love. They truly get along like peas and carrots and pretty much never get out of eyesight of eachother. They have improved tremendously walking on a leash (when together) and I am able to walk them both at once. They will need continued training but they both have improved already in the short time we've had them. Karma is much more laid back than Duke but he does settle fairly quickly for such a young dog. Please consider giving these two the chance to steal you heart because if any dogs deserve it... Its these two. Considering the incredible hardships these two dogs have endured and the immense love they deserve, I would like to reach out to our compassionate community. Is there anyone out there who has room in their hearts and home for a bonded pair? Duke is dog socail while Karma is dog selective. They have not been cat or child tested although if an approved adopter is found they can be.
