Katara

Adopt Katara! This little girl is silly and full of joy. She does well with large and small dogs and cats. She does like to play but she can become overwhelmed with rambunctious dogs. Katara is extremely food motivated and will do just about anything for a treat! Katara is kennel trained and potty trained, with a relaxed temperament. She does require slow introductions to new people and dogs but after she is comfortable she is the silliest little puppy. Katara is also a resource guarder - meaning she is not willing to share certain things. For her, her food bowl, treats, and chews are off limits to any other dog. This is understandable and workable since she is from a place where she most likely didn’t have enough food. Potential adopters should understand she will need to be separated from other dogs whenever there is food involved, at least for now. We hope we can find her perfect home. Someone that can work with a puppy to learn all the good things life has to offer! Katana is around 5 months old, hound/lab mix that loves to play with her fellow friends.
