She truly is the sweetest thing and when she looks at you, your heart meltsSWEET Katie aka KATE lost the only home she's known. Her owners could no longer care for her due to (human) medical issues and everyone is just heartbroken over her return. BUT we know she has has special folks out there as special as her that are ready to write her next life chapter. Kate has awesome foster parents in Mansfield MA where she lives with a Rescue Inc alum. Says her foster momHer sweet personality is coming through and she is a gem!!! It was a rough week as our sweet kitty crossed the rainbow bridge. You can tell Kate is very smart but also intuitive. She was a great source of comfort. It was like she knew what was needed. Kate is the perfect balance of energy and relaxation. She loves to play but she isn't destructive. She hasn't pulled the fluff out of any toy!! It's shocking for her size. She loves walks neighborhood walks and longer park walks. She loves going in the shallow ponds. She enjoys her down time after. She is house trained and we can leave her overnight in the room with her bed and her crate. She and Meeka have become good friends. She is very good when meeting other dogs. She is very conscientious and reads the cues. She loves people. We took her to a brewery, sat outside and a table in the corner to see how she did. She relaxed next to us people watching and was happy to engage anyone who was curious about her. She will be loyal. She loves to be with someone. She loves to sit in the kitchen while I'm cooking. She does NOT beg. She likes to sit in the office with my husband while he's working. There's so many things to love about Kate!!! She is adapting to our routine walking, playing, sleeping. Her favorite game is tug of war and she is soooo good at it. She definitely loves being around everyone and the more the merrier. She is so excited to see people and she does a stop drop and roll for belly rubs. Kate loves to be with people she doesn't need the direct attention but she just likes to be in the room.
