Dog Story
Kate here stopping in to say I am new to ABR. Hey don’t let my age fool you, I am an active senior that wants to spend the rest of her days with an active family. I love all people even the little humans and other dogs of all sizes as we have an 11lb one here at my current home. BUT other small critters rabbits, chickens, squirrels and cats are “game on” and I have sent many a critter to the rainbow bridge so I will need a new home that is securely fenced without all those temptations from the neighborhood.
I know my basic commands sit, stay, come and I will even give a paw! My outside listening skills when I am busy critter hunting are selective so I will need a nice physical fence preferably wood or vinyl so I can’t go crazy over the critters outside my new yard and keep them safe.
I adore all of life’s adventures whether it be a walk, car ride, snuggle time and tummy rubs are always WELCOME!
So if you think we could be the perfect match please fill out the online adoption application at https://americanbrittanyrescue.org/adoption-application/ and come meet me soon!
History – Kate’s owner passed away suddenly and she has been staying with family. The family is gone for long stretchs (10 hrs) and would love to see someone adopt her that is around a lot more as she loves to run and play outside.
Kate is on proin for bladder leakage 2 times a day and no accidents since on the medication. She is also on c/d diet as recommended by her vet due to recurring urinary infections. Since starting this food she has had no infections. She has free reign of the house when her family is at work and NO ACCIDENTS!
