Katie
Breed
Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler, German Shepherd Dog
Meet Katie! Katie is approximately 2 years old and is 38 pounds. We are not sure exactly what she is mixed with but possibly an Australian Cattle dog, some type of Shepherd and maybe even Kelpie. She is full grown, petite and one of the sweetest dogs ever! She loves to play with a variety of toys and chew bones. Katie is very sweet and gentle with humans and dogs of all ages and sizes. Katie is crate trained, potty trained and walks extremely well on the leash.
Interested in becoming a forever home for Katie? For immediate consideration, please fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we DO NOT go any further without an application.
If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once.
Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws .
We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Katie.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Katie the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us.
Our normal adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
