Click here for the online adoption application Katie Scarlet is about 5 years old, 20 inches tall at the shoulder and weighs 33 pounds. She is housebroken, crate trained and would do well as an only dog or perhaps with a non aggressive male dog. She does not start fights but she is not too tolerate of aggressive behavior or being growled at, regardless of the aggressors size. She?s a great passenger on short trips but gets car sick on longer outings. Katie is very affectionate and sweet, craving all the attention you can give her. She will make a devoted companion. She must go to a home with a 6 foot fenced yard, where she will be showered with love and affection, allowed inside and she MUST sleep inside at night. Katie is heartworm negative, up to date on all shots, spayed, and on heartworm prevention. Katie requires 1 pill twice a day for bladder muscle control. Local adoptions only. Adoption fee: $125.



Note: All applications are processed in the order received, but an adoption is made to the best application received for each of our animals. All applicants must provide a vet reference on the adoption application. If you are adopting a dog from ARFA, a fenced in yard for the dog will be required. Home visits often occur on each adoption. ARFA has the right to deny adoption to any applicant for any reason without explantion.
