Hi, my name is Kauai! I'm about 13 weeks old and a German shepherd mix. Right now I weigh about 13 pounds. I'm a playful pup who has had a hard start to life. I was dumped in a box at a park on a hot afternoon in early July with my 3 siblings. When I was found, my eye was severely injured. The nice doctors helped me by removing my hurt eye. I'm one tough cookie, ready to play with my toys and foster family even when my face hurts me. And now I will have a super cute winky face when my fur grows back. I'm getting used to seeing with just one side and it's not slowing me down at all. I would do well with an active family. I LOVE kids and other dogs. I'm still learning what I can and can't chew on, and need lots of chew toys around me since I'm teething. I'm doing great with potty training on a schedule and I'm even beginning to ask to go outside when I need to! I was learning to walk on a leash before I had to start wearing my cone too.
