She is full of life and energy and has eyes that will stare deep into your soul. She is really working on her manners in her foster home and going back to the basics on puppy training. Kaycee is really quick to learn and is super treat motivated. Kaycee will need a chihuahua savvy owner and someone willing to stick to a routine and continue with her basic training. She will warm up to her new people quickly but strangers take her a minute or two. She is working on her confidence building and will need to be given some patience, support and guidance. She has been around other bigger dogs and a cat in her foster home and gets along well with all. She really wants to play with everyone so a playful cat or dog would be great for her. If there is another dog in the home they will need to be her same size or bigger than she is, as well as confident. While Kaycee is managing being on a leash, she would really prefer not to go out on walks in the big world yet. Strangers and barking dogs make her nervous outside of her home. She will need a secure fenced yard. In her future home, she will need to be fed in a crate, away from other pets . She must continue her basic training and confidence building. Kaycee is not house broken but she is doing really well on a schedule. She is crated when her foster parents leave during the day and at night and doesn't have accidents in her crate. Kaycee is a great little pup and will be a great companion for anyone who is willing to stick to her training and work through her confidence building.
