Kenai needs a new home, the family that he lives with cannot contain him. He is a working breed dog and continously jumps their fence, their deck chasing other animals and deer that invade his property. Kenai lives with cats and another dog, but probaby would not do well with another dog he does not know. He is an inside dog but would probably do best as an inside/outside dog where he can release his enegry. He needs a tall fenced in yard area and a person that can handle his strength and high energy. He snuggles inside the home but when outside, that is his world to protect and he will chase and catch those animals that invade it. He has alwasy been around small children but should not be because he does not watch where he is going and runs over anything to get to his place he wants to be and has no problem with humans or aggression outside of being a working class dog. Their adult daughter has taught him many tricks and does not want him to go but they have no way to contain him.
Please help us help him and save him from himself or any other kind of fate.
