My Story

Kenzie was surrendered by her owner because the resident cats attacked her. They purchased her as a puppy, but the cats in the home played too rough with her and one bit her on the back. She seems unfazed around the cats in her foster home, but they are used to dogs and act appropriately around dogs. Kenzie came into rescue VERY UNSOCIALIZED. She has gotten much better with her foster mom and the dogs in her foster home. She loves the security of her crate (from her original home) and has her pillow, blanket, favorite toys in there. Kenzie will need to the security of those items when it is time for her to be adopted, she really feels secure with the crate, etc. She is crate trained and used Pee pads in her original home. As long as she goes potty outside, she doesn't have accidents but it may take her a little while to do all her potty business. I am going to say NO KIDS. It took her time to even let me (foster mom) touch her. She will need patience and time. A quiet home with a fenced yard is required for her, as she is nervous and needs time to settle. She was born in February 2023. She is 10-11 lbs. She has scar tissue from where the cat in her original home attacked her.
