The Top Hats, as they are affectionately dubbed, are a litter of 7 beautiful puppies born in foster care on October 3rd. Their mother, a lovely golden Beagle, has been a devoted and constant nurturing presence, as has her foster family, which includes a human mom and dad, three children, and a doting Golden Retriever named George who had nothing to do with siring this family, but believes that he did.
Consequently, the Top Hats have known nothing but love and supportive care. They tumble about happily, plow through their puppy gruel with gusto, and they lumber about quite pleased with themselves and the world they know. They greet everyone with absolute trust, and expectancy of good.
Kepi is the tiniest of his siblings, but he is round and sturdy with short, stocky legs, a furrowed brow, and wonderfully long ears. He seems to be studying the world with an expression of solemn approval. He excels at wrestling with his siblings, when he can use his short legs and big head to great advantage.
The Top Hats will be available for adoption in early December, when they are eight weeks old. Because they are mixed breeds, we are unable to predict with any reliability what their size will be as adults. If you are interested in this dog, please fill out a non-binding application .
