My name is Kerry but my foster mom calls me Angel...because I am! My original owner is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge so I'm looking for a happy, safe, and loving home for the rest of my days. I'm an ideal companion - very calm in the house, snoozing away much of the day, but lively outside. I'm not a barker and never, ever have accidents. I love to meet new people, especially children. I have the run of the house 90% of the time but when it storms at night, I feel safer in a crate. I do prefer to be the only dog at home, but I'm happy to see all other dogs I meet while walking. Speaking of walking, I LOVE my walks and am great on a leash.If you want to hear a happy bark, just show me my leash! My foster mom can't believe how spry and perky I am when outside. (I tell her when it comes to my breed, 13 is the new 7!) Oh, I'm a super polite car passenger too. They say long dogs like me should not go up and down a flight of stairs because that could hurt my back, but I'm fine hopping up and down a few steps in and out of the house. As you can tell from my photos, I have the most beautiful blue/brown eyes and that may mean Australian Shepherd is in my bloodline. You see, I can spot a bunny or chipmunk 2 yards away!
