Needs more leash training Rides well in car: Yes Destructive: No Needs a home with a yard: Yes Needs a home with another dog: No Can live in an apartment: No History (how did you acquire dog?): Kiah and her mother Kella were rescued from a local high kill shelter after suffering horrific abuse Other important info: Kiah, along with her mother, were seized by authorities after having horrendous acts perpetrated against them both. They were sent to a local shelter, where after their hold was up, they were set to be euthanized. Both were rescued at the last moment. Despite what she was forced to endure, Kiah is a very sweet and loving girl. She holds no grudges, and wants to be with her people and shower them with love. All she asks in return is attention and love. She seems to be around one year old, despite her records showing two, so she still has some exuberant puppy energy. She will need a yard and family that is fairly active. She very much enjoys going for walks, but hasn't learned that not everyone is an instant playmate. A bit of leash training would be helpful as she learns her way. Kiah thrives on structure and schedule and will need a confident leader. She thrives on attention from her humans and is very responsive to correction. Kiah loves to be close to her people, and likes to be touching them or laying on them. Kiah is a fantastic girl with a great spirit and thirst for life. She will make an excellent addition to an active family. Breed experience is recommended.
