Meet our handsome King, a gorgeous Black Lab boy with a coat as shiny as a mirror! He is about months old and weighs about 70lbs now and will not grow up any more, just wider. King is an absolutely gorgeous and incredibly sweet boy! He is very smart and is doing well on a leash. He loves attention and loves to run and play. He will sit and stay on command. He loves belly rubs and is treat motivated. He loves to go on walks. He does great with cats and other dogs. He is not a jumper and would be good with children. He is a medium-energy dog and is so smart. He is playful and needs some basic training but is ooooh so sweet! He is not a barker (only when appropriate) and very easygoing. King will listen when off leash. This is what his foster said: "We have fostered this baby for a couple months. He is the easiest foster dog we have had (and we have had hundreds!)! He is smart, affectionate, walks off leash and is very calm for a puppy his age. He is house trained and crate trained. We don’t close his crate - he likes being in there on his bed. He is great with kids, other dogs and cats. He does not jump on people and has great manners. He has been around many people and is so well behaved. He is not a barker. If you want an incredibly smart, super sweet dog that will snuggle, this is your boy!" At 6 months of age he did need hip surgery. He has healed well and walks fine. His activity is not restricted and he is as good as new his vet said. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $350.
