King - foster or adopt

KING just turned a year old and gorgeous and looks to be a husky mix of some sort and is fully vetted. He and his sister Anya came to us a few months ago SUPER scared, but he especially has made some good strides. He would really benefit from another friendly and confident dog in the home. He's got a lot of puppy energy still and loves to run around and play. He'd love an active home (as in someone who could give him lots of exercise). He sleeps in his crate all night long without a peep. He can be shy towards new people (especially men) and takes a little bit to warm up. But once he does, he will be your new best friend! He is a fence jumper and was returned because his first adopter had a 4’ fence and he was escaping the yard. So he really will need a 5’ or higher fence, or someone willing to take him out on a leash to potty and exercise. Adoption fee covers: all vetting to age (including deworming, deflea etc ), spay/neuter and microchip after 6 months of age at our clinic, $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes, and lifetime support of rescue. We are not a shelter and are completely foster-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available.
